Who doesn’t like warm, cheesy appetizers!?
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes
Servings 4
Ingredients
- 4 large tortillas
- 1 8oz block cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 bell pepper (red, green, yellow, orange), finely diced
- 1-2 jalapenos, finely diced
- 2 green onions, finely diced
- salt & pepper
- 1/2 tsp of any of your favourite spices (oregano, garlic powder, any spice mixture)
Directions
- Set oven to 375F degrees. (You can also make on a smoker or bbq.)
- Chop all ingredients and mix in bowl. (I like to warm the cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds or so to make it easier to mix).
- Evenly divide mixture between tortillas. You can use more or less tortillas depending upon how thick you want them to be.
- Fold in 2 outside edges of tortillas, and roll.
- Make tiny slits with knife on top edge of rolls (1-2″ apart) — this will really help to slice once cooked.
- Place on baking sheet (or grill of bbqs).
- Bake/bbq for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is hot and gooey. Allow to cool for few minutes before slicing into pinwheels.
*Feel free to dip in ranch or sour cream, or your favourite sauce!
Feel free to add or take away any of the vegetables and spices as you please!
Let me know how you like it in comments below!
Take care,
xoxo Amy
