We all have issues with stress throughout our lives.

Right now, I am apparently more stressed than I feel. I’m not quite sure why. Perhaps I’m trying to focus on too many areas at once…

I’ve been working on this site. I started back in December of 2019, made some decent progress and then it went on the back burner for a bit. Covid-19 happened and I finally got some more time to really focus on my site properly since I wasn’t working. I went back to work and though still making baby steps, I was almost ready to completely announce it, link it on my social medias and really allow the world to see it…

About 2 weeks ago, I went to make a minor change to one of my settings and suddenly my site has been reset back to the default settings! I was very angry to say the least! I finally got the issue resolved yesterday, but still have to go back and change all my settings (mainly for the home page).

That may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back…

Obviously I have a lot going on right now… I’m working like crazy at my massage practice in Lambeth. Catching up on client’s who couldn’t have treatment for 3 months, trying to finish out motor vehicle treatment plans and cramming in client’s who want to see me as much as they can before I leave in September.

I have just over 4 weeks before I move to Northern Ontario, so I’m trying to do some more purging of stuff I don’t need as well as pack as much stuff as I can ahead of time.

However, starting last week I noticed my emotions were getting a bit uncontrollable, my weight is going up, and my ARMS!

For whatever reason, when I become waaaaayyyyy over stressed (even though I don’t feel like it’s that bad), my forearms start to break out in itchy bumps…. We are talking itchiness levels that make you feel like you are crazy enough to be committed to a mental institution!

I feel like the best combo of ways to decrease my agony has been to topically apply apple cider vinegar, aloe vera (fresh from the plant works best), a mild lotion (like shea butter or coconut oil) with some drops of lavender essential oil. Sometimes a bath with oatmeal can help also.

 

But I am curious…. what do you use for itchiness? Whether it be mosquito bites, dermatitis, dry skin, etc…

Also, what are your best methods you find for managing your personal stress?

ps. UPDATE: I actually came to the conclusion that severely itchy arms was due to the massage lotion I was tryig to use up at work…. ooooops!
